The Weekly Wrap - The Weekly Wrap #137
Like what you’re reading? Consider sharing it with a friend. I was out of town with my family and yesterday was a travel day. This is going to be a short issue. Have a great Sunday! I don’t know why I brought two books with my on our trip. I knew I would only get a few minutes to read here and there. I made progress - but only a little - in The Handmaid’s Tale. At least I hit where the “action” starts. I forgot how long it took this book to take off. Also, this book is so uncomfortable to read right now. The politics seems all too real. *Books shared here are affiliate links for Bookshop.org
I loved this picture from a series on how different artists would compose a Thanksgiving plate. [Colossal] Our library subscribes to the AP Stylebook. It’s useful for our University marketing as well as our English and Digital Media Program. I also use it for my person needs (although I am Team Oxford Comma). If you like keeping up with this writing style, I highly recommend their newsletter. The monthly issues are timed to recent events and what’s happening in the calendar. The information is always relevant with, sometimes, a hint of sass and humor. I need to put together all of my final marketing and cheerleading support material for finals week. I’m trying to think of new things so I don’t fall back on my usual stuff. You’re a free subscriber to The Weekly Wrap. For the full experience, become a paid subscriber. Need more to read? The Sample is a dynamic newsletter recommendation tool. Each day, it’s sends a newsletter to your inbox based on your preferences. This is one of my go to tools for finding new things to read.
