The Cyber Cubs join forces with the Loaded Lions, and a battle for the fate of the world thus begins.

• Pudgy Penguins, a popular NFT project, announced its plans to launch an interactive metaverse ecosystem called ’Pudgy World Alpha’ in the first quarter of 2024. The project will be powered by zkSync, a Layer-2 protocol on Ethereum.

• Sotheby's initiated its first-ever auction for Bitcoin Ordinals-based NFTs featuring the ‘BitcoinShrooms’ collection. This online auction presents three items from the collection, marking their public availability for the first time. The ‘BitcoinShrooms’ collection, created by a pseudonymous digital artist known as Shroomtoshi, showcases the history, culture, and technical aspects of blockchain through pixelated art.

• FIFA, the international governing body for association football, announced an NFT drop. The drop will take place on its FIFA+ Collect platform, featuring 100 collectibles on the Algorand network. These NFTs will provide holders with the chance to win tickets to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final. Additionally, there will be a sale of 900 collectibles on Polygon, offering buyers the opportunity to obtain match-used items from the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup and FIFA-related VIP experiences.

• Former US President Donald Trump is offering a new collection of NFT trading cards called the ‘Mugshot Edition’. These digital cards are priced at $99 each, and individuals who purchase 47 cards in a single transaction will receive a physical card containing a fragment of the suit Trump wore during his mugshot in Georgia. The NFTs also provide buyers with the opportunity to have dinner with Trump.

• According to a report by Fortune Business Insights, the blockchain gaming market in North America is projected to reach $600 billion by 2030. The report indicates that the market is currently growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.8%.
