"Chat" Is A Flawed Medium For Access Transfer
Cold outreach is hard because when someone replies, it may take months before you actually get deeper access to them. On a reply, you now need to figure out if they actually want to talk to you or if they are just being nice. To find out, you exchange messages, replying back in a way you think will get you to a call. This journey can take months (or years). This is the issue with “chat”. A reply doesn’t mean you have a deeper level of access, it just leads to false hope and a target that is always moving. Thanks for reading Mat's Newsletter!
