It's a B2B user feedback tool called Upvoty.

👨‍💻 The founder:

Mike's a serial entrepreneur who has been building businesses for over 10 years. After scaling an online home improvement platform to over $1,000,000, he's now scaling Upvoty.

He recently also launched a new SaaS product called Pixally, a URL shortener with a high focus on retargeting and tracking.

He's sharing the lessons he learned on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

🌱 The early days:

When growing his previous SaaS product, he needed a way to better organize and structure all of the user feedback. When searching online, he didn't find any great tool that was a great fit.

All he found were outdated tools or tools that were way too expensive. That's when he spotted the opportunity to build his own user feedback software. He quickly ramped up a landing page and shared the MVP in Facebook Groups and other places where his target audience was active, and only after he acquired 200+ sign-ups did he start working on the actual product.

He launched the first version in private beta. And with the help of these early bird users, he could quickly build something of value.

This actually resulted in acquiring the first $1,000 in MRR before launching publicly!

🔥 The biggest growth hack:

"The best thing I did was to narrow down my target audience. By making my audience super small, everything became much easier. From the copy on our site to the targeting with ads, building features, etc. We first nailed it for a small group and then later on expanded to a bigger audience."
