I’m Not Allowed to Watch the News

Stacey is not allowed to watch the news. There are many reasons. Ok. There's one reason. And he thinks many of you feel the same. The political system of the United States of America in the 21st century is a lot like Thanksgiving Day at her mother's house--dysfunctional, expensive, and makes you a little nauseous.

It will end, but it’s not going to end well. When the news is on he tends to rant. It scares the dogs. So his wife said he’s not allowed to watch the news anymore. The dogs and him started this podcast, where he can rant all he want. That'll teach her.

• Amy Poehler has been confirmed as a speaker at the upcoming Podcast Movement Evolutions event.

• Apparently the True Crime podcast genre is less popular with podcast listeners in the UK than they are in the U.S. Kind of unsurprising really.

• According to this research, podcast listeners want podcast ads to be funnier and more entertaining.
