Analyst Says SiriusXM Is Focused On ‘Rebuilding’ As It Pivots From Satellite To Streaming

Wells Fargo Securities media analyst Steven Cahall says SiriusXM is in “a rebuilding phase” to bring new growth to its subscriber numbers with users that only pay for an online service and not an in-car satellite radio product. The result is more expenses in the near term, and pressure on company earnings with Wells Fargo estimates below Wall Street consensus.
