“I wanted to find a community where I could get connected. Where I could be supported. Where I could think through what was next for me.”

LC Johnson had a dream to launch a co-working space. But what she built was a transformative community and social movement for women of color to feel seen, heard, and supported.

In this talk for our Columbus chapter, LC confronts the assumptions of her allies and affirms her mission to make sure that women of color have a seat at the table. She stresses that getting “just enough” to get by is not enough. By creating space to lift each other up, we can overcome any barrier between us and success.
