India 🇮🇳 Kirthi: I have 14 years of experience working as a feminist researcher, facilitator GBV, peace educator, and mediator. I've engaged in multilateral processes through the Women 7, UNNGLS, European Union, United Nations, and Regional Consultations for the Commission on the Status of Women. I focus on the Women, Peace, Security Agenda, Feminist Foreign Policy, and Transitional Justice. Portugal 🇵🇹 Thays: I am a feminist futures thinker, gender expert and storyteller. I've worked for organisations like UN Women, BBC Media Action, Women Win, and the School of International Futures. Currently, I am Gender Advisor at the Centre for Sport and Human Rights and founder of a social impact venture called Feminist Futures, where I use futures and foresight methods, in combination with storytelling techniques, to: reclaim our power to imagine feminist futures; co-create beautiful stories set on those, and find pathways we can start walking today towards these wonderful futures.
Kenya 🇰🇪 Audrey: With 12+ years of empowering African girls in rural areas, I prioritize their well-being, collaborating with global organizations. My focus spans grant management, gender equality, and safeguarding. Holding a Social Work degree (CUEA) and a Gender and Development Master's (KU), I excel in Gender-Based Violence program management and leadership. Beyond work, I embrace adventure – yoga, literature, globetrotting, Game Nights, football, and F1 racing.

Finding a network of extraordinary social & environmental impact leaders to build relationships of reciprocity with has never been easier 🥰Here's a few asks & offers happening over in our community this week:
🌱Aurélie: For bloomers in Paris, I just wanted to let you know that the Paris Peace Forum (my former organization) is recruiting for multiple roles such as Director of partnerships, Director of communications and intern for the executive office. I thought it might be of interest 😊. I'm happy to answer questions on the organization if useful!
🌱London: Hi Bloomers! This is a super random ask, but is anyone here working in (or knowledgable) about the climate x soil health space? Would love to chat with you if so 🙂
🌱Taahira: Hi Bloomers, (looking for freelance talent!) is there anyone around here who is working/has worked as a sound technician on production shoots? This is for the same documentary, In The Hood (I posted about some weeks ago! that is looking to feature immigrants in Europe - their impact on the population and their current way of life) that I was researching for in Paris, Prague and Novellara (a city close to Bolonia). The current timeline is from 6 May to 19 May (moving across three cities), and there is a per-day rate of about 320 euros for someone with experience doing this.

Today's newsletter was sponsored by the team at the movement-inspiring newsletter, Anti-Racism Daily. In the United States, February is Black History Month, and the Anti-Racism Daily created a newsletter campaign to honor the month – you can subscribe & read the stories of an untold or underappreciated story of an inspiring Black figure centering queer, trans, disabled and marginalized individuals.
Tomorrow the team is holding an event we know many bloomers will love, at the intersection of arts and social justice. The founder of Anti-Racism Daily will sit down in conversation with award-winning poet, essayist, and cultural critic Hanif Abdurraqib on the history and future of Black communities in the arts.
