This week, I want to share with you a few Notion tips and recent updates that will certainly help you enhance your Notion experience and pimp your workspace.

Notion constantly releases little updates and here’s a recap of what happened in the past weeks.

In this week's edition, you'll find:

• A cool tip on how to hide weekends in your calendar view

• An overview of the title wrapping feature in Calendar views

2 Handy Notion Updates

Recently, Notion has been giving us lots of interesting little updates and new things to try. They keep adding these regularly, making our experience better.

This week has been really exciting because there are new things for us to check out and have fun with. Let’s dive in and discover what new stuff Notion has for us now.

1. Colorful Buttons in Notion

You can now add another feature to your collection to make your Notion pages look even better - set colors for your buttons!

Here’s how to do it:

1. Simply hover over any button and click on the Drag icon that appears. You'll see a bunch of things you can do pop up.

2. Look for “Color” to see all the cool color options for both the text and the button background.

3. Choose the color that makes your button pop and voilà, you're all set!

2. Notion Reordered Tabs

As someone who uses Notion every day, I want to say… FINALLY!

Notion Tabs can now be reordered in the Notion desktop app.

And just when you think I can’t be happy more, they've added the cherry on top: your tabs will save and restore whenever you close and reopen Notion.

The fact that I can close Notion now instead of leaving it open at all times should be a good thing.

Cool, right?

Tip: Hidden Weekends in Your Notion Calendar

Who doesn't use Notion or a calendar over the weekend? If you take a pause from all the scheduling and planning on weekends, I have something interesting to share with you.

Notion has rolled out something super handy. Now, you can tuck the weekend away on your calendar. Just a quick trip to the options, under "Layouts", and flick off that "Show weekends" toggle. Voilà, more visual space for your weekday hustle.

And me? I'm all in for keeping my weekends hidden. Keeps my mind clear for the relax and family stuff!

News: Notion Calendar Title Wrapping

Recently, we discussed an update about displaying title name across two lines in Notion Calendar. Now, Notion has enhanced this feature too!

Now, we've got options for how we want our item names to display. Remember how it used to be? Well, now you can stick with that classic single line or switch it up to a more spacious two-line view. I'm totally loving the flexibility!

If you're hunting down this new feature, it's a breeze to find.

Just hop into Properties, select your {Title Property}, and you'll spot the 'Wrap in view' option.

Honestly, staying up-to-date with Notion's updates feels like trying to catch a runaway train, yet I genuinely enjoy all the improvements!
