Spring into Poetry: Announcing New Education Programs

March 20, 2024

Thanks to a two-year grant from Hawthornden Foundation, we’re thrilled to announce new education programs for readers of all ages, which offer free poetry workshops to students and teachers in New York City public schools, as well as online literary seminars to lifelong learners all over the world.

Our inaugural season of literary seminars features Pulitzer winner and former Academy Chancellor Carl Phillips on Gwendolyn Brooks, celebrated translator Sophus Helle on Gilgamesh, and Harold Morton Translation Award winner Stephanie McCarter on Ovid’s Metamorphoses.
