AD Editors’ Takes, Live From Milan Design Week

I look forward to Salone all year; it truly is the design world’s international convention. After a quick pop-in at the Principe di Savoia, my home base for the week, I paid a visit to Faye Toogood, who just might have another hit on her hands—you all know Roly Poly!—with her cozy, comfy Gummy chair upholstered in Pierre Frey fabrics. Elsewhere, my friend Martina Mondadori opened her first Cabana Store on Via Borgospesso, and has artfully arranged it with romantic, old-world pieces, vintage and new. Dimore Studio reliably generates the biggest Salone buzz at their two locations. I was particularly taken with the Chapo Creation furnishings at Dimorecentrale, which had been upholstered in Yves Salomon shearling. READ MORE
