My Top 3 is a weekly post where I count down three things I love in a random category. This week, we’re looking at my top 3 little things I’m proud of.

In our society, things are driven by the continual pursuit of progress or seeking perfection. This forever forward churn means it’s essential to celebrate what we can do well or have accomplished. Everyone should be able to stand in a moment, point to something with pride, and say, “I did that.” In embracing what we know we are good at, we honor our hard work, dedication, talent, and skills.

Plus, it just feels good to boast. When we acknowledge ourselves, we gain positive energy and confidence. That can boost morale and foster a growth mindset. In turn, that fuels our motivation to keep going. Recognizing what we can do serves as a reminder of our capabilities and resilience.

Big or small, let’s stand tall and celebrate how we are all awesome in our own way.
