Productivity will drop.

Wrong:

Studies have shown that productivity increases when we work fewer days. Output didn't change in these studies, for many reasons:

1. When we have less time available, we naturally work faster (awesome human psychology)
2. When companies make the switch, they usually become more lean e.g. less meetings
3. Diminishing returns... productivity reduces when we work long hours
4. Increased creativity... as the saying goes: "creativity needs space"
5. Better rested employees = more productive employees
6. It attracts more skilled candidates
7. Employees are off sick less
8. Improved team morale
9. Burnout reduces
