CEX Data for May, Trading Volume Declines by Over 10% for Two Consecutive Months
Data compiled by the WuBlockchain team shows: In May, the spot trading volume of major exchanges decreased by 20% month-on-month. The top three changes were Crypto.com -3%, HTX -4%, and Mexc -10%. The bottom three were Upbit -40%, Bitget -39%, and Gate -21%. In May, the derivatives trading volume of major exchanges decreased by 11% month-on-month. The top three changes were Mexc 21%, Crypto.com 4%, and Gate -4%. The bottom three were Bitget -21%, HTX -15%, and Deribit -14%. In May, the website traffic of major exchanges decreased by 4% month-on-month. The top three changes were Bitget 47%, Deribit 20%, and OKX 12%. The bottom three were Crypto.com -29%, HTX -28%, and Mexc -24%. Note: The following data may be suspected of significant volume brushing/bot activity.
