When we decided to produce 1VIBE Originals we set out to earn a reputation as a source for creative hip-hop content. To do this, we need to expand how we think of hip-hop experiment with unique content formats. Yesterday we introduced Visual Vibrations – a series inviting photographers to remix their love for photography and music. The first episode features Toronto photographer 47mind who blessed us with some dope photos and a fresh 12-track mixtape.

This week we also celebrated the 25 Year Anniversary of Mobb Deep’s “The Infamous” album which is one of our all time favorite hip-hop projects. R.I.P. Prodigy!

Another newly released project we recommend you listen to is DJ Critical Hype’s “In Search Of… COLE” mix which puts J. Cole’s best raps over beats from legendary production duo The Neptunes.
