This day in video game history, we celebrate the 25-year anniversary of the North American release of Kirby's Dream Land 2 for the Gameboy, the 11-year anniversary of X-Men Origins: Wolverine for the PS3 and Xbox 360, which was a game adaptation of the fourth X-Men movie, and the seven-year anniversary of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon/i> for the Xbox 360 and PC.

'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered' Is Finally Live On PC And Xbox One

Weeks after the launch of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered on PlayStation 4, the excellent remaster is at long last on Xbox One and PC. The game costs $20 and is the campaign only, no multiplayer. The idea is that Modern Warfare 2 maps will keep landing in the new 2019 Modern Warfare MP instead, keeping all Call of Duty players in the same game (for the most part). It's not only because it has been 26 years since the last one, but that the original side-scrolling beat 'em up trilogy was lightning in a bottle, rightly celebrated at the time, and has been venerated by genre aficionados ever since.
