[Article 1] and a personal challenge inside...

Welcome to FiveMinuteFounder.com

I have a challenge for you.

But first, I want you to think about how much time you have spent listening to podcasts, reading articles/books and watching videos on how to build a successful business.

If you're like me, it's probably a lot. Hundreds if not thousands of hours learning and receiving advice.

And how much of that advice have you actually been able to implement successfully in your own projects?

Again, if you're like me, I'm guessing the answer is 'not a lot'. And that's not necessarily because the advice wasn't interesting or useful - but when you're building a new project from scratch, it's really hard to prioritise and condense hundreds of hours of high-level advice into actionable goals.

So here's my challenge to you:

Aim to improve your projects by at least 1% every week. And actually follow through on it.

Here's how I'm going to help: Every Monday at 7am PST, I'll send you an email with one piece of actionable advice, which should make your business/project 1% better overall. There will be examples to follow, and each email takes less than five minutes to read, so it's perfect for your morning coffee (or bathroom visit).

If you're already familiar with the concept of compound interest, you'll know why these small, easy to implement changes are really impactful. Follow along for just a few minutes each week, and after a year your project should be almost twice as successful as it would be otherwise.

My emails contain a mix of the most important/impactful lessons I have learnt from my own experiences as a founder, guest posts from domain experts, and requests from subscribers/founders like yourself.

I write primarily with an indie developer in mind, probably working on a SaaS/(web-)app. But if you're investor-backed, non-technical or working on a non-software product, most of the advice will still be applicable.

What are the next steps?

Next Monday, 7am PST you'll receive your first email. I don't make any money (directly or indirectly) from writing and researching these articles, so any support would be really gratefully received (and makes it more likely that I carry on). You can support me and help me help other founders by:
Thanks,

Louis
