Little Simz is really, really good
Little Simz was robbed of The Mercury Prize last year. 'GREY Area' was one of – if not the – best album of 2019. Now she's back with a new EP 'Drop 6' written during lockdown. From the first beat, it's got you, further cementing Simz as one of Britain's finest lyricists.

Petals for Paramore Fans
Hayley Williams' first solo album is out today. 'Petals For Armor' deals with Williams' divorce and battle with depression, but despite the heavy topics, she's created a slap-bass tinged, funk-filled pop record of epic proportions.

Podcast of the week
Comedian James Acaster has parked the food chat for new podcast, Perfect Sounds. Each week, he'll try and convince a guest that 2016 was the greatest year for music by playing them one of its releases. It sounds like a flimsy podcast theme but he might just have a point. Delve back into what was genuinely a stellar year for music.
