Hello there, In this week's newsletter I want to explain to you how you can setup and configure Kafka in your local machine. As I explained in my previous newsletter, Kafka is a distributed event streaming platform. You can setup Kafka in your local machine to test and learn better, in a cost effective manner. There are two ways in which you can do this - using the Kafka binaries, which you can download directly from Apache downloads. Second is by using Docker, which is a simple and straightforward approach. I've explained each of these in detail, and have also explained how to use CLI commands to create and manage topics.
