Better Sheets - What's the pink text in Apps Script?

Sometimes if you're coding Apps Script, the text turns pink, sometimes gray, sometimes there's a red squiggly line. Find out what those mean in the newest tutorial I just added to Better Sheets today
If you're not a member you can get this video in "Learn to Code in Google Sheets" on Udemy. -Andrew Your Resident Google Sheets Wizard at Better Sheets P.S. The text turning pink is when variables have a capital letter in the front. But mainly they are useful to see the native functions you're adding like UrlFetchApp which connects to API's, and DriveApp, which lets you connect to anything in your Google Drive. The red squiggly line means you have an error. Specifically a syntax error before the red squiggly line. The gray text means you haven't used that variable yet. This is super useful to help debug code. |
