Here's 8 tips on how I've been able to spent much less time in my inbox:

1. I use Superhuman: I've been a customer for 1.5 yrs now - it's one tool I couldn't go without (not a compliment I throw around lightly...)
2. I auto-categorise emails: e.g. if an email contains "meeting" or "zoom" it automatically goes into a folder called "Meetings". Superhuman calls this "split inbox".
3. I ruthlessly unsubscribe: I mass unsubscribe using unroll.me.
4. I use Calendly: life is easier when they can pick a time which suits them.
5. I disabled notifications: notifications = productivity killer. Emails should be done in focused sessions, not reactively.
6. I use automated followups: when I send an email that could need a follow up, I hit "H" to set a reminder.
7. I don't use my mouse: in Superhuman you use keyword shortcuts. Mouse = slow, keyboard = fast.
8. I use email templates: most emails contain some templated response. For me: a company wants added to the site, I'm doing cold outreach etc. In Superhuman I create "snippets"
