Market Mix - Consolidating Once More

Hi, hope you are well.

I launched Patey News from a segment of my main list over at Digital Asset Investor as I wanted a way to send personal updates and insights when I have them.

I guess this doesn’t happen that often as it’s been over 2 months since my last send!

But then beehiiv recently released subscriber preferences enabling people to opt in and out of different newsletters/updates. So I’ve just added Patey News into DAI and uploaded everyone as a segment in there.

So this is the last email from Patey News as a separate publication, I’ll be seeing you back in invest.beehiiv.com (still love that subdomain, seeing as I ended up investing in them!).

So what have I been doing recently?

I’ve been focussed on bringing in new customers for Letter Operators through cold outreach and generating inbound from linkedin and X.

I’ve also started building my own sites again, on my DR51 richardpatey.com (which I just let go, insane) as well as back on my ski domain snowbistro.com and a poker site. I XML imported old content (a lot of which was from Content at Scale on, now Brandwell) which I’ll be editing over time.

And I’ve been using Cuppa to create new content (using my own OpenAI and Perplexity API keys which keeps the cost down) which I also edit and add expertise to.

It really is incredible not needing to pay for writers anymore with websites. And this is something that me & Maciej have now solved for newsletters by creating our own prompts and custom GPTs to deliver the Letter Operators productized service.
