7+ Challenges Solved by AI
When you think about getting an AI assist in your content business, don’t think about the tools.
Your first thought should be identifying the problems you want to solve and the jobs you want it to do, says Jordache Johnson, founder of the Never Tech Behind community, in his CEX presentation.
“The tools are a solution to a use case,” he explains. “If this is what’s working in my business, how do I figure out how to make that work better?”
Using your strong foundation of the business, you are ready to embrace the power of AI to elevate your work and grow your brand.
Read through every question, even if you don’t think it applies to you. Many of the tools can be the answer to other questions, too.
How can I stay on top of trends and industry-related content?
Feedly (free; paid plan pricing not listed) aggregates content. You can create categories or topics, and Feedly will pull from your go-to sites and others to share the latest.
Jordache uses Feedly to aggregate the newsletters he subscribes to by sending all those emails to Feedly.
How can I get the most from conversations, meetings, and presentations?
Otter.ai (free; paid plans start at $16.99/month) interprets the data you feed into it. Jordache says he doesn’t take notes when listening to a presentation because Otter is running. It provides a transcription and gives a summary, action items, and an outline of the presentation.
You also can use Otter for conversations and meetings. It has a tool that connects to Zoom.
Jordache says recording prospect calls using Otter allows you to create a library of reference material directly from your audience’s mouths.
He also uses Otter as a “word vomit” tool – recording his stream-of-consciousness thoughts as he’s walking and asking it for a summary and action items later.
How can I get more from listening to podcasts?
Snipd (free; paid plan pricing not posted) can help podcast listeners extract more value from the experience. “There’s so much gold in podcasts,” Jordache says.
But you likely don’t pause, take a note, rewind to make sure you got it right and hit play, then repeat the process when you hear another good point.
Snipd lets you hit a button to “snip” the content. The tool goes back about 20 seconds and saves the audio from that point to where you hit snip. Jordache connects his snippets to the Notion app to maximize productivity.
Snipd also provides chapter breakdowns like YouTube and summaries of the podcasts.
How can I create videos without spending a lot of time editing them?
Descript (free trial, paid plans start at $19/month) has a wealth of editing resources. Jordache says he usually uses two features – the one-click-to-add studio sound and another click to remove filler words like “um” and “uh.”
The tool can work for online courses, coaching calls, and other video content.
How can I more easily create all the ancillary content from my podcast or video?
Castmagic (free trial; plans start at $19/month) lets users build prompt chains – action items – that the tool will execute after you upload a video or audio file.
You could upload your podcast episode and break it into chapters, write a summary, create the distribution newsletter, and publish the social posts.
It also can help with coaching calls. You can set it up to summarize the call, identify key steps, and list action items that can be sent to the client and you. And if you use it for customer-related calls, you can build a library of content about what your clients want, common problems, challenges faced in overcoming them, etc.
How can I add audio versions of my text-based content without recording each article?
Eleven Labs (free, paid plans start at $5/month) asks for three hours or so of your voice and, in return, delivers your customized AI voice. Jordache says he knows a creator who publishes a daily private podcast for her membership, uploading her script and having Eleven Labs convert it to audio in her voice.
You could add an audio player at the top of your blog posts and have “you” read the article. You also could use it for videos where you write a script and lay your AI audio over the B roll images.
I know I need an operations manual, but where do I start?
Guidde (free, paid plans start at $16/month) is a Chrome extension that will follow what you do. Go through every step, and Guidde will create videos of what you’re doing that can be stitched together to show the process.
But it goes further, creating descriptions of what’s happening, taking screenshots, and highlighting where you click so others can see the process.
You can use this to build a standard operating procedure and create a more robust onboarding experience for customers.
Jordache has another piece of good advice for content entrepreneurs: Don’t adopt all these or other tools at the same time. Pick the one or two that will be most helpful to your business and focus on learning and using those first.
After all, you don’t want to create a new problem – too many AI tools, too little time to learn them – to solve.

She changed her hustle-focused business model after ending up in the hospital with a severe anxiety attack and burnout.
Sunny changed her definition of success to focus on what she wanted – to build a business that didn’t require her to work all the time and allowed her to enjoy life.
Through Authority Accelerator, she’s helped over 3,000 individuals earn over $15M in monthly revenue.

things to know
Money
Partner up: Meta is working on updates for its ads format that allows brands to turn creator content (with permission) into ads. Text testimonials would appear below the caption on Reels. Collection ads would use the creator’s content as the hero image with a shop-now button. [Lindsey Gamble] Tilt Take:Meta rightly sees opportunities to make it easier for brands and creators to connect their content.
Audiences
Odd timing: This week, the case got worse for TikTok in a US-based lawsuit. It inadvertently revealed internal research that reportedly showed children were particularly susceptible to its algorithmic feeds and excessive use of the site could lead to mental health issues. [The Washington Post] Tilt Take:And as that news made headlines, TikTok announced a partnership with Headspace, a mental health resource app, for World Mental Health Day. Do you think TikTok sees the irony?
Tech and Tools
Jump into the conversation: A new Reddit feature will let advertisers place ads directly into conversations where people are using their targeted keywords. [Search Engine Journal] Tilt Take:Depending on the keyword price, the technique could work well for content entrepreneurs.
And Finally
Debut commitment: Forbes announced a new event – Creator Upfronts – with Walmart Creators as the title sponsor. The in-person event includes panel discussions, stage presentations, and notable creator pitches to industry leaders. [Forbes] Tilt Take:Unfortunately, Forbes limits its definition of creators on its top list to social natives across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and other social platforms.
