Global fertility rates have plummeted from 5 births per woman in 1950 to 2.3 in 2021, with Taiwan at 1.11β€”the lowest. This decline poses economic concerns, especially in Europe, projected to see a 7% population drop by 2050. Here, we list countries with the lowest fertility rates as of 2024.
