I get quite overwhelmed by it all. Nevertheless, somehow the “gifting” (a word I have inexplicable hatred over) persists, and we all flail around not knowing what to buy, and then have to find places for it. These two factors - frenzied organisation and feverish overwhelm - have informed this present list, which is exactly why you should read it.
