Editor’s Letter

💛 Greetings Reader,

I hope my message finds you well beyond just “okay.”

At the moment, I’ve managed to steal some quiet time from finishing up the cards, a last-minute trip to the grocery store, and all the busyness of Christmas prep before tonight’s concert and mass.

I’ve thought fondly about many of you over the past few weeks and the experiences we’ve lived through and exchanged with one another over these past twelve months. No doubt 2024 will be one for the record books. But it’s when we share these stories and show up for one another in the myriad of our faith choices or lived experiences—the lows, the highs, the challenges, stumbles, gains, losses, the triumphs, the bitter, and the sweet—that’s when I am inspired by humanity and rediscover how much we all have in common.

I pray that this holiday season brings you all the love, joy, hope, and peace you so richly deserve, and that you are blessed beyond anything you could ever hope for or imagine. The following blessing, which is one of my favorites, best expresses my sentiment.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord Lift up his countenance upon and give you peace. –Numbers 6:24-26.

Happy holidays! Love one another.
