Here at the Academy, we can see the impact that poetry makes every day: providing a platform for poets to publish new work through such programs as Poem-a-Day, bringing poetry to communities through support of Poet Laureate Fellows, and helping teachers bring poetry to students with dynamic lesson plans.

With your help, we can provide opportunities for sharing new poems and essays by emerging and established poets. 

Your gift today will enable access to weekly poetry lesson plans featuring the works of contemporary poets for forty thousand teachers and librarians serving grades K-12.
