Poem-a-Day - Meet the 2025 Poem-a-Day Guest Editors

January 1, 2025

Dear Readers,

As many of you have shared with us, reading a poem daily is a small act with the potential for profound impact. We’re grateful that you’ve joined our reading movement by signing up to receive a new poem in your inbox every morning, and we‘re honored that Poem-a-Day remains the only daily digital offering featuring brand new work by today’s poets.

It is with great enthusiasm that we introduce the Poem-a-Day Guest Editors for 2025, who represent a wide range of geographic and stylistic communities in the United States. From former Academy Chancellors, MacArthur Fellows, and Pulitzer finalists, to state poets laureate, respected poet-translators, as well as poets working on criticism, memoir, and multimedia projects, each Guest Editor will offer you unique perspectives on joy, love, resilience, sorrow, advocacy, and more—a wide panorama of lived experiences.

Here’s to reading a poem a day in 2025,
