"Try to rely on statements and expressions in your code, whenever you can, as they can prove very valuable, in both checking multiple conditions and shortening the checks into something that's concise.

In the snippet above, you're checking two values, an email and a password. Through the use of a when statement, you can check for nullability, and apply smart casting, in all subsequent conditions.

You can also write very simple and concise expressions that fit into one line of code."
