Power BI Weekly #295 - 11th February 2025
Power BI Weekly Newsletter Issue #295
powered by endjin
Welcome to the 295th edition of Power BI Weekly! Quite a short one this week, and no official announcements from the Power BI team. So straight into the featured articles. My colleague Paul has shared an article talking about Power BI Images That Pop: A Guide to Intuitive, Easy-to-Maintain Reports, which does a deep dive into how to get the most out of using imagery in your Power BI reports, explaining the different image-embedding methods and a data model design that enables effective storage of image references. Do check it out! Elsewhere this week, Bernat Agulló Roselló is back with an ever-detailed article around Making a Report Bilingual: The Full Story (Part 1). Probably the most comprehensive write-up on this topic, so well worth your time if you have this requirement. Finally, Gilbert Quevauvilliers has described how to Use a Microsoft Fabric Notebook to get all Power BI Licenses, building upon a previous article detailing how to retrieve information about users in your Entra tenant. I can imagine this being quite useful for you admins out there!
