WindowSwap, customized pillows, WFH brands, and backyard movie theatres
Home Catalog 007. As many of us are still spending much of our time at home, WindowSwap — an interactive website that invites you to see the view from a stranger’s window — is a unique and fun way to get a glimpse into new spaces and places. In just a few clicks this morning I was in Brixton, London, overlooking farmland in Obersteinabrunn, Austria, and watching the wonderfully calming rain patter against a window overlooking NYC. If you're looking for a new perspective this Sunday, it's worth a few clicks.
On the topic of spending more time at home, I've added three of my favorite WFH brands to the site: Branch, Grovemade and Artifox. A few more WFH updates:
- The Inside released its Home Office edit a couple of days ago,
- Inside Weather's Jorn desk is now fully customizable; and
- Outer shared its WFBY (Work From the Backyard) essentials
Cheers
Ash

And re-creating that experience in your own backyard is easier than you might think."
The Citizenry // Excerpt: "Over the past few months, we have returned to the comfort of our homes. It is no longer just a place to sleep and eat, it is now so much more – it is our safe haven, our retreat from it all."
How to Add a Pop of Color to Any Kitchen
Caraway // Excerpt: "The kitchen is the center of the home, which gives any color you utilize power over the mood and emotions of everyone who walks in. Here are a few simple solutions to add a quick burst of color for any kitchen to keep your hardest-working room feeling refreshed, fun and chic."
