I don’t know about you, but watching women+ get money, found companies, and disrupt entire industries makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And I’m assuming, because you hang out with Ellevest, that you love watching women+ succeed, too. Here are three financial feminist announcements I’m celebrating:

1.	Loom founder Erica Chidi raised $3 million in seed funding last week, making Chidi one of 35 Black women founders who have raised more than $1 million in venture capital. Crunchbase
2.	Editor in Chief Emily Ramshaw and Publisher Amanda Zamora officially launched The 19th* this week, “a nonprofit newsroom with the goal of being the best, most diverse newsroom in America that covers gender and politics.” Nieman Lab
3.	Lisa Kornick, Melissa Widen, and Amy Fahey, co-founders of banking startup First Women’s Bank, are on a mission to tackle the gender gap in lending. Chicago Tribune
