YC's First Lightning Tech Talks Series & Hiring Event on September 10
We’re hosting YC’s first Lightning Tech Talk session on September 10 at 4PM PST. Five YC founders will give 10 minute talks on their technology and business challenges. The first session focuses on software tooling & SaaS.

Open Office Hours: Sign up for Office Hours with YC Partners
We’re delighted to announce that YC is hosting online office hours for startup founders every Friday throughout the month of September. If you’re in the early stages of building a company, we’d love to meet you — anyone from idea stage through Series A, and any non-profit is welcome to sign up.

Announcing YC Build Sprint and 20 Equity-Free Grants
We’re excited to announce our first-ever YC Build Sprint. This is a 4-week period to work intensively towards a defined goal alongside a community of thousands of other founders. The sprint kicked off on August 24 and is administered through our free Startup School platform. Also, we’ll be awarding 20 grants of $10,000 to winners selected from among the sprint participants.
