YC Companies Looking for Fall 2020 Interns
We’ve spoken to a number of college students who are considering foregoing a virtual fall term and instead looking to gain valuable work experience. In turn, many YC companies have had great experiences with their 2020 summer interns. One founder noted, “We had a really successful summer term. I could rave for a long time.” Despite Covid-19, many of these startups are still seeing strong demand for their product and have raised enough money to weather this downturn. They’re actively looking to hire bright and talented students to help ship more product and continue moving their companies forward.

YC S20 Virtual Demo Day
On August 24 and 25, YC will host our 31st Demo Day live over Zoom. After considering community feedback from our first, rapidly planned online Demo Day in March, we’ve decided that a live Demo Day is an important part of founders’ YC experience.

Reimagining B2B Commerce with Faire
We believe that new and upcoming B2B players now have the tools to overcome historical constraints, and that large B2B commerce aggregators will emerge over the next decade. At YC, we often look to Faire (YC W17) as a prime example of B2B aggregators that will emerge over the next few years. In this post, we’ll walk through Faire’s opportunity as a B2B marketplace for independent retailers and brands, and discuss what its success means for the future of B2B commerce companies.
