In Our Carts This Week

It’s already getting colder every morning in New England, which has me thinking ahead to the cozy fall days to come. Lucky for me, with Labor Day Sales just starting and the last two days of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale upon us, it’s the perfect time to be stocking up.

One of the best deals I’ve seen this week comes courtesy of Nadaam, a direct-to-consumer cashmere brand that has more recently expanded into ready-to-wear: Now through September 7,
take 60% off select men’s and women’s cashmere styles, or check out their restocked $75 cashmere sweater. When it comes to cashmere, I can be a bit of a snob — supposedly “affordable” options from brands like Uniqlo and Everlane just don't do it for me. (Cheaper cashmere tends to mean shorter fibers, which translate to itchier sweaters that pill and don’t last.) Nadaam, however, is a company I can get behind. Over the past few years, I’ve bought two super-soft cashmere sweaters plus a cashmere-silk blend shirt from the brand, and they’ve all held up beautifully.

Meanwhile, don’t miss your last chance to score great fall discounts at Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale before it wraps up tomorrow. A few extra cozy deals: Ugg slippers and boots, all kinds of throws, open-front cardigans, and winter jackets from top brands

All The Best Patio Furniture On Sale For Labor Day 2020

Although August may be winding down, there’s still some time to take advantage of the pleasant days as the season changes from summer to fall with new patio furniture. Whether you’re looking to make the best of the last few weeks of summer, or simply getting a jump on next year’s setup, Labor Day (and the week leading up to it) is the absolute best time of year to score deals on outdoor furniture and accessories like fire pits, outdoor rugs, and more.

With Labor Day sales at big box retailers such as
Walmart, Target, and Home Depot well underway, plus end-of-season sales at premium furniture brands and cool up-and-coming companies, there are plenty of deals to choose from. I’ve combed through all of them to find the best options for patio furniture on sale. Shop a few of my favorites below, or see my full list of picks here (and check back often because I’ll be adding more pieces as new sales go live).
