The adoption of financial technology, both by financial and non-financial companies, is one of the macro trends shaping finance, business, and economies globally.

As shown in our Fintech 250 list released this week, nearly half of the most promising fintech companies globally are based outside the US. The UK and India account for a decent share of companies between them, and Grab, the most well-funded company, is based in Singapore.
