How's life going on your end? I hope my email finds you well!

I was looking forward to things turning around and life getting back to normal towards the holidays, but unfortunately, we hit an all-year high in cases this week. It really makes me appreciate and fantasize about the times before covid. Sort of like when during a power outage you realize your whole life runs on electricity, even the smallest things you never considered.

Well, on the bright side, we still have the power on so we can design, code, build and break stuff.

I've stumbled across this article on the Doherty Threshold that says that if a computer response to a user's input in less than 400ms, the user will take less time to make their next decision.

As the article below discusses that 400ms hard limit might be arbitrary in fact, but it's still a useful point to keep in mind.
