Forbes - Cases At An All-Time High

U.S. Covid-19 cases are at an all-time high right now. Yesterday, the day after the election, America recorded 103,000 new Covid-19 cases and more than 1,100 deaths. Part of the problem is that some people have not been self-quarentinging after being diagnosed with the disease. Take an election official in Missouri, who died from Covid-19 after working at the polls all day. Now, voters at that location have been advised to monitor for symptoms.

Of course, the U.S. isn’t the only country where cases are on the rise.
Greece has become the latest country to go back into lockdown mode after a spike of Covid-19 cases, though Greece’s spike was much, much smaller than the current spike in the U.S. In addition to Greece, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and England have all announced new lockdowns recently. And in an ironic move, China, where the virus originated, has now banned travel from the UK and other countries where case counts are high.
