And another record was broken yesterday: 130,989 new Covid-19 cases were counted yesterday, the most ever. Some regions are faring worse than others. Texas has become the first state to record more than a million Covid-19 cases, while cases in New York creep up once again. President-elect Biden reportedly wants to begin working with NIAID Director Anthony Fauci to get control of the pandemic, but chaos within the presidential transition team means that’s not currently happening.
