Forbes - Spiraling Out Of Control

Even though President Trump predicted that the Covid-19 pandemic would end shortly after the 2020 elections, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, America’s pandemic is worse than ever, and spiraling out of control. For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 60,000 Americans are in the hospital with Covid-19. And another record was broken yesterday: 130,989 new Covid-19 cases were counted yesterday, the most ever. Some regions are faring worse than others. Texas has become the first state to record more than a million Covid-19 cases, while cases in New York creep up once again. President-elect Biden reportedly wants to begin working with NIAID Director Anthony Fauci to get control of the pandemic, but chaos within the presidential transition team means that’s not currently happening.
