The Factual - New app and price change in 2021

Hi there,

Thank you for being part of The Factual community. The past three months have seen tremendous support from our community as we’ve crossed 2000 paying readers! We’re in the early stages of building a global community where people trust the news and feel well-informed about the changing world around them. Your support is key at every step of the journey.

App coming in two weeks

In a couple of weeks, we will release our new app — a highly requested offering only for paying readers of The Factual Premium. For many of you who find news delivered over email cumbersome, we hope the app better suits your needs.

The app will deliver the same newsletter you love, combined with live updates, all in a simple, interactive, and ad-free format. The app also makes it easy to share individual stories and will soon host a forum to discuss the news in a thoughtful manner.

We will publish an iOS (Apple) app first and then an Android app a few weeks later. This adds to all the ways you can get unbiased news as a Factual subscriber:

  1. Email
  2. Web
  3. Social media (browser extension)
  4. App (subscribers only)

Pricing change on January 1st

To make all this possible, I wanted to let you know that as of January 1st, 2021, the price of The Factual Premium will increase to $5/month or $20/year. This will allow us to continue to invest in our products and team.

You can upgrade now to an annual subscription to take advantage of the current price of $12/year and get access to the app when it comes out in a couple of weeks. This will ensure you can receive credible news and save 40% off next year's rate.

Upgrade Now

As always, we'd love to hear your feedback on how we can improve your news experience.
