Dear AD PRO Community,

As we reach the end of this wildly unprecedented year, I want to send you all warm wishes for the holidays.

For me, as for so many of us, there is comfort in maintaining beloved traditions. So, I was heartened to read about how several designers are keeping the spirit of the season in their celebrations this year. I love picturing Amy Lau festively decorating her family’s big outdoor dining table with desert blooms for Christmas dinner in the Arizona sunshine and I can almost smell the mulled spices simmering away atop Steven Gambrel’s Aga cooker up in Bedford, New York, to name just two.

One of my favorite tasks every December is choosing just the right gifts for family and friends, but sometimes we can all use a little help finding the perfect thing. So, if you’re in need of last-minute inspiration, this story divulges some of the scents, treats, throws, and other splurges designers are sending this year.

However you celebrate, I hope that you and yours are staying healthy and well during these challenging times. This newsletter will be on pause for the next couple of weeks, but I’ll be back in January with more insights and recommendations from the AD PRO team.
