Forbes - Politicians Get Vaccinated

As we continue to wait to see whether the FDA will grant Moderna’s Covid-19 Emergency Use Authorization, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine that was approved late last week continues to be rolled out throughout the country. It’s not just frontline healthcare workers and nursing home residents that are getting vaccinated, however. Vice President Mike Pence got the vaccine live on-camera, and President-Elect Biden will be getting the vaccine on Monday. Notably, President Trump has not gotten the vaccine, or at least has not told the public about it. The vaccine rollout is coming none too soon. Hospitals are continuing to fill up in areas that have been hit the hardest by this latest case spike. In Southern California, for example, ICU capacity is currently at 100% - which will make taking care of severe cases much harder.
