Forbes - On Shaky Ground

As the world reaches 2 million people who have died from Covid-19, America continues to be in deep trouble. Not only is it one of the biggest contributors to that 2 million total, but it seems that the reality of the situation is worse than the Trump administration led the public to believe. For example, news came out today reporting that the U.S. has no reserved doses of any Covid-19 vaccines, despite President Trump’s claim that the government had been saving second doses. President-elect Joe Biden’s team, which has been trying to pry information out of President Trump’s team for months, says that the U.S.’s Covid-19 response plan is shakier than they first thought. And a new report from the CDC says that the more contagious version of the virus that was first discovered in the U.K. may become the dominant strain of Covid-19 in the U.S. within the next two months.
