Dear AD PRO Community,

We all need inspiration from time to time and luckily the AD archive, available to all active PRO members, is a fount of beautiful ideas. The art of interior design can be an ephemeral one. Spaces created with such care and effort might only ever be seen in person by a lucky few before being dismantled. Which is why capturing them in photography—and, ever more these days, in video—is so necessary and something we love doing here at AD.

And not only does our work document theses spaces for posterity, getting published can also help a designer build a career. While landing a story in AD is a thrill for them, I can also say that it’s extremely gratifying for us.

Though I hope that each new issue of the magazine gives you lots to dream about, I do also want to point out that whenever you need more, the archive comprises 101 years (!) of back issues offering priceless glimpses into a century of great design. You can always explore it on your own, but the PRO team mines it regularly to unearth sensational—and inspiring—spaces. Check out these recent round-ups spotlighting the best and brightest kitchens; bold dining rooms; and beautiful tilework; to point out just a few.
