The 15 Top European Destinations for Vaccinated Travelers

With Covid-19 vaccinations rolling out around the world, Europe is preparing for a busy tourist season this year. Alaska’s Cruise Season Gets a Lifeline

The Alaska cruise season may not be sunk after all. In February, Canada extended its cruise ban, which effectively torpedoed the upcoming season, but last week Alaska’s two senators proposed new legislation to help the cruise lines stay afloat in 2021. If passed, the Alaska Cruise Line Recovery Act will allow ships to sail to the 49th state without a stop in Canada.

Mexico’s Famed Tequila Train Is Back on Track

After pausing for the pandemic, the famed tequila train Jose Cuervo Express is back on track and accepting reservations for 2021. The luxurious train offers two itineraries (sunrise and sunset) and reservations are filling up fast—the luxurious Express is booked through June. So don’t wait to take your shot.

"There’s something about the sound of a train that’s very romantic and nostalgic and hopeful."

— Paul Simon

The Future of Burning Man

Like many massive public events, Burning Man was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. With the fate of the festival still uncertain for this summer, the Burning Man Project and the Land Art Generator Initiative have started looking ahead—to 2030. The organizations launched a design contest to propose new sustainable solutions for the Burning Man festivals of the future in the Nevada desert.
