Silicon Valley Funding News - Week of March 22, 2021. Stripe and Plaid Raised $1.2B Combined

$1.2 billion in funding went to two fintech infrastructure companies (Stripe and Plaid) this week.

Stripe is now valued at $95 billion and became the second most highly valued private startup in the world. According to CBInsights, there are now more than 600 unicorns around the world. 30 decacorns (companies valued at over $10 billion) and 1 hectocorn (companies valued at over $100 billion).
