What I particularly liked about this story is how he managed to validate his business idea and get his first customers by sending cold emails and doing some free work. Here's the whole story.​

After five years, Missive, a hard-to-explain email client, has reached $1M in ARR. And they wrote about their journey. Bootstrapped business, three co-founders and only one employee, $0 spent in marketing. The SaaS everyone would like to be running!

This week I had a call with Brennan Dunn (founder of Create & Sell) in which we talked about email marketing and digital products. I've been the whole week thinking about the email course he has that brings him +$100k/year in course sales. Here's a huge guide on how it works.

Viddyoze is another bootstrapped business; this one in the video industry. They are making Β£3m/month and their acquisition channels are two: affiliates and PPC. I found this article explaining their "growth levers" really interesting and different from other SaaS growth analyses.
