GRANTED: My summer reading list and our book club

My favorite thing about reading is that you can soak up in two hours what took the authors at least two years to digest and distill. (This is also my least favorite thing about writing.)

Here are my recommended new releases for the summer. They cover leadership and change, fear and courage, commitment and meaning, judgment and decision-making, and communication and conflict.

If you're interested in engaging with more books like these, a few years ago I launched the Next Big Idea Club with Malcolm Gladwell, Susan Cain, and Dan Pink. Our mission is to find the best new nonfiction books and send them directly to you, along with bonus videos and reading guides created exclusively for members. We also donate 100% of our profits to provide students with free books and memberships.
It's been a joy to watch this club become a community. Thousands of people around the world are enjoying our podcast episodes, diving into our mobile app, and exploring timely ideas and timeless insights in our online discussion group.

I’d love to invite you to join us. If you sign up, you'll get a free copy of Think Again to keep or give to a friend.
Join us in the Next Big Idea Club
Every quarter, we send you our two favorite new reads.
Here are our 24 selections to date.  My personal favorites include The Culture Code, Joyful, No Hard Feelings, Range, Biased, You’re Not Listening, Work, and Chatter.
In solidarity,

Adam Grant, Ph.D.
Organizational psychologist at Wharton, author of THINK AGAIN, ORIGINALS, GIVE AND TAKE, and OPTION B, and host of WorkLife, a TED original podcast
