15% service fee: starting July 1, 2021, the service fee will be 15% on the first $1M (USD) of earnings each year. To enroll, we’ll soon ask you which developer accounts you own in Play Console.

New store listing requirements: to keep your apps in good standing and remain eligible for featuring, please review the planned metadata policy changes and updated asset guidelines.

Upcoming safety section on Google Play: this new feature will help people understand how your apps use data to help build trust in your apps’ privacy and security practices.

New apps must target at least Android 11 (API level 30)

New apps and games must be published with the Android App Bundle

New apps using Play Billing must use Billing Library version 3 or newer.

September 2021:

Existing apps must comply with the Payments policy update

November 2021:

Existing apps using Play Billing must use Billing Library version 3 or newer.
