⚒️ Tool Path

Want to start a book club? Vev is a collaborative visual editor that enables you to create beautiful interactive websites. Designing in Vev will feel similar to designing in your favorite design tool and its robust library of features will give you the ability to bring your content to life.

In this tool-path, we will clone The New York Times Book Club website to learn how to use the different features of Vev.

If you follow all the tutorials in the tool-path, you will have the skills to create a project like this. You will learn how to create sticky backgrounds, sticky positions, scroll and load animations, and more!

Follow along, and don't forget to share your projects with the Makerpad community on Twitter or the Makerpad forum.

🎉 No-Code Fundamentals Course

How Tim learnt no-code to launch his climate change community. Tim Falls is a climate change activist from California and he had wanted to get his community project off the ground for a while. A lack of confidence in his ability to build his project from a technical standpoint left him stuck in v1 and unable to launch.

Tim joined the inaugural No-Code Fundamentals course cohort in April this year, hoping to shift both his confidence and building ability into second gear. Once the course started, Tim got stuck into experimenting with tools and automating workflows. The best part is that Tim is now forever armed with no-code skills that he can use on further projects.

The second cohort for the No-Code Fundamentals course starts on June 21st. There’s still time to apply if you want to join and kickstart your no-code knowledge.
